Rogue Machine Theatre seeks to nurture today’s current and up-and-coming playwrights by introducing works new to Los Angeles. Rogue Machine strives to expand the limits of creative possibilities with 21st century artistic technology while engaging the community with art that creates a dialogue resonating well after the curtain closes. Rogue Machine seeks to leave a
legacy for the future; to be a theatre of ideas and imagination; a theatre that mentors, giving its community a voice and a place to be heard.

In just five seasons, through mainstage productions, late-night series, and play development workshops, Rogue Machine has become a highly respected producer of quality theatrical experiences. Today, we are an essential and significant part of the Los Angeles theatre community, described as “one of the most ambitious and accomplished theatre companies in Los Angeles” by Terry Morgan of Variety. Rogue Machine has been honored with more than 35 awards for excellence, including six Production of the Year awards, the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Season,  and numerous awards for direction, writing, acting and design. We were named “one of Los Angeles’s top ten theatre companies of the decade” by LA Weekly and have been listed annually in all the top “Best of” theatre lists.
